Strange marking on my tomatoes

I unfortunately can't post any photos but it looks to be Ps going all the way around where the tomato connects to the vine

like PPPPPPPPPPPPP

would anyone happen to know anything about this? i would like to find justice for my tomato plants and their P P problem.
