Why do people play control priest?

I feel like control priest is THE most annoying deck to play against. All they do is to clear the entire board over and over again and in the end winning by playing their Titan or by fatigue. Is playing 1 card a turn and clearing the entire board with it for like 10 turns in a row fun? Sounds pretty boring to me tbh.

I guess its a good deck for climbing since u cannot lose by board and only get killed by an OTK or very unlucky draws against aggro decks...

Is there something im missing that makes this deck fun, or is it really just a boring alternative for ladder climb?
