Sales Career Q&A

I've been working for SaaS company for 4 years.

Started as an AE and was supposed to be promoted to Senior, but they dangled the carrot and made me wait a year for the promotion.

In the end I got it and had another promotion to ENT AE recently.

Now I'm an ENT AE after a position opened up and I started off happy to be in the role but also a bit surprised as they offered me a salary about 23% under the going market rate!

Still, I knew I could hit my numbers because I had such a wide market and then these things happened...

  1. They allowed SMB res to also outreach ENT companies. Yes, I receive inbound ENT but they cam target companies in my territory. Great for the reps, the team and the management, sucks for me.

  2. They stopped all ENT AEs from having the ability to cross sell active clients and selling to their office in different markrtes or to different teams, which has severely impacted my TAM.

With all this information, what would you suggest I do?
