Just found out a classmate was nearly 20 years older than what I thought he was, should I still pursue?

Me (24F) and a classmate of mine at community college have been getting along really well and I think he might have a crush on me (inviting me to places, always sitting next to me, blushing when he speaks to me or sees me etc) and I think he looks really handsome. He is a skinnier nerdy type of guy that I'm really into.

Anyway we were talking about stuff and we get around to how old we specifically are. I was thinking he's maybe anywhere from 25-30 but he said he was 43 ๐Ÿ’€. He does not act that age at all, but now I don't know what to do. I am fairly good with telling ages but he just looks and acts very young for his age. He's older than my mom!

In this case, is age just a number??

Also I'm just looking into a fwb or hookup situation anyway so maybe it's fine? I'll wait until the semester is over to see but idk ๐Ÿ’€. Tell me what to do reddit
