New episodes on Prime if anyone's got it. Watched a couple of episodes now, it's got Romesh Ranganathan and Tom Davis as the commentators. It's not the same as Craig Charles but they've got brilliant banter and I've been loving it.
Still as nonsensical and funny as ever!

I was skeptical, but the new hosts are really great. It's still a very similar vibe with the sarcastic humour, and they've got great chemistry, play off each other very well

It’s pretty good! It’s been up on Amazon prime Japan for a while, and the nostalgia has been fun. Although I’m surprised they kept the Ennosuke episodes in after his arrest earlier in the summer

It’s shocked the whole country over here. I can see both sides of his situation, but he’s in a lot of trouble no matter what the judgement turns out to be when this goes to court.
I hadn’t heard of this chap or the scandal. It’s sad though, especially if it was really done with the intentions of ‘rebirth together'.
I live in Japan and it is kind of nuts how no one raves about Takeshi's Castle as much as British people. They're just like "Oh yeah. That was a thing", and I am like... it shaped a generation.

I watched the new series as soon as it released. (have there been more episodes since the first batch?)
I much prefer the UK version with Craig commentating on just the action.
Watching the full show had too much talking with the contestants etc.

It's because it last aired in Japan in like 1990 , and it's been repeated in the UK for like 30+ years

Way prefer this version to Craig Charles. I loved Red Dwarf but I find him dull and charmless.

I watched them right away and laughed quite a bit! I hope they decide to make more, it was a fun show to watch.

I was always read it as Takeshit which is basically what the contestants do.

Not the biggest Romesh fan but it’s just two blokes having a good time watching and bantering off each other. I love all the call backs to the original show
I watched one episode and thought it was naff tbh, you can find the Craig Charles episodes on YouTube anyway without much trouble.
