Kinda bothers me how I have to relearn which player is which position every single season now, and as a result I'm really glad we started our season against an FCS team where I didn't have to stress about the game, and could focus more on that.
Definitely already learning who I think some of my favorites will be this season. Of course KJ & the RBs who have stuck with us go without saying, but some others are moving up fast.
One of the fun parts about learning the roster is finally getting to see highly touted recruits take the field for meaningful snaps. Like I had been dying to see what Sategna can really do ever since I saw we got this in-state guy away from an Oregon commitment and onto our team, and so far he hasn't disappointed, I love his speed and think he has the tools to live up to the #16 on his back.
Augustave is another promising FR, he gives me confidence that the RB stable will stay strong even after some of the experienced guys start to move on, I think I'm going to like him even though I'm guessing he'll have limited minutes this season.
Wilson, Hasz,TeSlaa all seem to be more than capable of catching the ball. I can definitely see why TeSlaa was so hyped, and I am stoked to see more of all of our TEs and WRs, but especially him and Hasz.
I wish I understood line play well enough to even make an uneducated comment on those guys, but idk. Best I can say is that it seems like Landon Jackson is doing really well. I remember him being kind of up and down, but he looks even more jacked this season, and seemed to make winning plays.
This comment went on way the fuck too long, but oh well, somehow I'm awake at 4:30 and I gotta shitpost something.
I miss Quincy McAdoo and hope he is healing up well.

Overall, a we’ll-deserved win! Excited to have a back-up QB who can throw. There are definitely some concerns with the O-line and run blocking schemes but hopefully we can get ironed out. I never know how much of these opening games are just coordinators testing things out or actual game plan, but excited to see what this season has to hold!
