Current situation regarding recent improvements and what may have helped.

Update

I was responding to someone and thought this was worthy of a post. So here goes.... I hope you find this easy to digest, readers.

I took nac omega-3 coq10 and quercetin and also a reishi hysop ginger mullein fenugreek combo. After 2 to 3 weeks my Brain fog and migraines are almost ALMOST completely gone. Less tinnitus too which I've come to recognize as a pre and while fogged sign. Full course of some of the mentioned supplements is 2 to 3 months so still taking them along with a multi and plenty more tincture of time. Also still keeping a strict diet. You can find what works for you by looking elsewhere for that info. Trying not to regurgitate too much info especially if i cant say for sure how much it helped. I definitely still drink green tea daily, eat spinach and cut out 90 percent of my sugars junk or processed foods and caffeine. Also I quit poking smot. Depending what stage of disease you are at your mileage may very but never hurts to try new things that have some reaearch and anecdotes backing them them. My sleep quality much better now too. Not waking up fatigued but still fatigue easily although that threshold is also improving. Up to 40 squats from 0. Started at 25 and I couldn't walk for two days. I figure since I am besting the fog and feel like ive actually slept for the first time in three years, it's time to tackle the next few symptoms if possible. Update for that later, whether successful or not.

If brain retraining helps some people good for them but I think it's BS. You cant just think away the damage from covid. At best it may lower stressing over the ramifications temporarily which is fine. Focusing on breathing and meditation definitely helps a lot more. I firmly now believe your body needs help with resources as it repairs. It is possibly breaking down coagulation from endothelial damage and also healing nerve damage as fast as possible and without the resources or keeping poor lifestyle choices it will not be fast at all. Age and other health complications will also likely play a role in recovery speed. Speaking of I suspect myself to have hypermobility or eds but ill get to that later when or if i feel i must. I am lucky I was and still am extremely fit and intelligent, although I lost a lot of tone and mass over the years learning what to do while bedridden or housebound.

I still have some PEM and orthostatic intolerance. My legs still change color if not laying down and also hands especially palms knuckles and fingertips. All clears up when above the heart. Veins are huge when below heart compared to pictures from 2018 2019. I sleep keeping my limbs elevated now.

Heart will still race when walking or standing too long or facing my new nemesis, a flight of stairs. Eventually I start feeling very faint and short of breath. Last month a shower or 20 minute walk would wreck me. For days to a week and a half. I am going to start pushing this envelope soon ad i mentioned previously and will update again. Somedays I wake up either a bit red everywhere or pale. Hands and feet still get extremely cold but not as often as of late.

I had one doctor suspect venous insufficiency but ultrasound while laying down at least came back negative for poor flow or major clotting like a DVT. Valves could still be working poorly unable to fight gravity. I have very low CVD risk according to my lipids. No risk of diabetes. No observable loss of kidney or liver function. Thyroid been busting its ass but within normal limits. Other than chronic !low complement c3 and c4 everything else is fine. Higher end of normal WBC and IgG. Could be everything is working as intended while I heal up the damage or I have an immune complex disease. Time will tell as I shall periodically get my c3 and c4 checked going forward. Last blood panel and complement check was July 2023. Low c3 c4 originally detected March 2022 so almost a year and a half ago.

Hoping to see cardiologist soon. Either the internist was correct and it is VI putting me at risk of future problems or it's dysautonomia based acrocyanosis also not good and harder to get acknowledged. If nothing else I guess some compression sleeves and stockings may be in order as I continue to battle the faintness/fatigue. I guess I'd say I feel less fatigued all over lately but still very faint after minimal activity. Haven't had a major crash in over a week despite increasing activity.

I plan on trying nattokinase bromelain frankincense turmeric and gingko soon.

Gave my self a headache and a bit of tinnitus just writing this so I hope it helps someone somehow. Gonna stop or I'll pem myself into a migraine.

Please supplement responsibly.
