As someone who grew up in ha2 this pisses me off greatly.

It stood out to me because there are other aberations around Westminster that have WBA or Norwich as First, or only 3 or 4 teams, but they're weird areas.

UB2 doesn't even have Arsenal, Liverpool is 1st.

The rivalry map is really interesting too.

This is very, very cool; although, it does beg the question if twitterdom velocity is a true measure of fandom.

True dat. For a start, it's only tweets that are 'about' Arsenal, rather than tweets stating love for the club. For all we know, most of the tweets coming from up north are people just slagging us off.

From experience, though, we seem to have a big following in Northern Ireland, and that reflects in the map. And obviously a lot of tweets from the home counties, due to a lack of major clubs around the outside of London (biggest clubs in Kent are Charlton and Gillingham, for example)

This would be cooler if it were more general - for example, show where tweets about Arsenal come from by country, so we can see which countries around the world have a lot of Arsenal fans :D (or more accurately, people that tweet about Arsenal)
