Gideon's Kinda Strong, no?

I know that Gideon was kind of a joke to the Tarnished, gameplay-wise, but I feel like it's never talked about how strong Gideon is; specifically in comparison to other characters. Simply by virtue of the spells that Gideon was able to cast, I'd rate him as being extremely strong. Then you take into account that he's killed a Demigod of his own and has been leading the roundtable for years?

I think if Gideon really wanted to, he could've killed Godfrey. Granted, there isn't too much to say how Gideon is strong in the lore and it could be that Gideon only leads the roundtable because of his intelligence but I think otherwise.

I guess the question from me is, what does everyone else think about the roundtable's resident asshole.
