Baby rolling and waking - day 3 transition

How did you help your baby chill TF out when transitioning to crib? My LO rolls over immediately after being put down and can’t seem to figure out how to get comfortable. He knows how to roll both ways but seems to forget how to roll tummy to back these last few nights. Any advice?

BTW Already tried magic merlin and don’t want to buy more transition products.
