I tried some 10 or so years ago and they worked but the fda banned one of the ingredients and afterward, nothing. Since I've tries two or three other brands and nothing.
However, if this is something you regularly have a problem with, go see a doctor. Other temporary factors could be stress, diet and physical exhaustion to name a few.
