Why do people imitate me in conversations?

When ever I talk to someone new, I’ve noticed they’ll say the exact thing I say, in their following sentence. As well as copying my mannerisms, sometimes even copy my body language. Any idea what that could mean? I don’t mind it, it just feels as if I’m talking to a clone of me.
