I’m studying one of the question in my book. Here is the question, so X got on an accident when he was park on the road side. X car was hit by Y and the car suffered damage. X was on his way to transact a business with a client of R,X’s employer. Can X ask for compensation to R?

I think Y is liable since his action cause damage but can X ask for compensation to his employer?
