More aircraft noise pollution lately?

I live in the East End and it seems like the airplane traffic has increased A LOT lately. Before I might hear on average 3-4 planes per day at most This last month I would say it's at least 15- 20 per day and half of those before noon. Maybe my numbers are incorrect, but my point is that I hear way more airplanes than 6 months ago. Has anyone else noticed this too?
