Cold call Recruiter asked me for my current Manager’s name

Cold Call recruiter left voicemail and email to call back concerning an opportunity.

Called back looking to speak with person who originally called and instead was passed on to a coworker. So… original caller never gave me his direct line to begin with (🚩)

Second recruiter then proceeds to ask me various intrusive questions that are as stated on resume but never talks about the position original caller contacted me about.

He then asks me to confirm my place employment which I do… then asked me to confirm my position title… which I do. THEN HE ASKED ME MY CURRENT MANAGER FIRST AND LAST NAME!(🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩)

Excuse me??? Why? This is where I drew the line.

Then he proceeded to ask me why that question “triggered” me and I proceeded to hang up on his face mid sentence.

He been calling me back ever since… #blocked
