I lost my data

I had a problem where it kept telling me I had no room to save data while playing Starfield, but I had a lot of room, plus data is saved on the cloud which is supposed to be unlimited. So I search for a solution and I find people with the same problem managed to fix it by clearing local saved data. I've done it for other games and it's totally safe so I just did that. When I opened the game again I just found nothing. I have lost everything and I have no idea what to do. Please tell me there is a solution.
