Starting the process to move back to my home country…where to start?
Hi everyone! I’ve decided that it’s time to start making plans to move back to my home country. I’m from Europe, from a country that’s part of the EU, so I’ll be able to live in other countries, since my country and the town im from is riddled with low job prospects and a bad economy. I do plan on hiring an immigration lawyer to assist in this process.
I assume I’ll have to move back to my country first, and then make a plan to move elsewhere. While I do so, I’ll finally be able to see my family.
However, it means I won’t be able to see my parents or other family here again. If I participate in Advanced Parole, would I be able to re-enter the US with a travel visa to visit them? Or would I still be banned for 10 years?
I already grew up without my parents and didn’t see them for 7 years as a child while they worked here, so it would really suck to never see them again, but I can’t keep living like this. It’s killing me slowly. I’m not ungrateful, but I’m also not delusional. I don’t come from a dangerous place with no prospects and living like this doesn’t make sense to me anymore.
