birth control options

i currently only use condoms with my cis boyfriend but he has asked to do it without condoms so long as we both get tested regularly, as well as using birth control.

getting pregnant is a huge fear of mine and he wants to avoid it as well. im perfectly fine with this, but i’ve tried looking into some options and ive heard or read about tons of side effects that would probably worsen my dysphoria. i live in australia and options such as patches arent accessible here

are there any options i can get that do not produce estrogen or cause feminisation? i am aware of copper iuds but i am also hoping to find some alternatives
