No one takes bumblebff seriously

So I’m 21 and I’ve been on bumblebff for so long now and no luck at all. No one takes it seriously.. I’m looking for a genuine friend and everyone just stops replying or I have met two girls up but we rarely text and hangout maybe once every couple months.. I’m so sick of this. I don’t have one genuine friend and this app is not helping at all. Is anyone else having a similar experience?
