Just got the cast off... when can I start playing again?

So, about 40 days ago I broke the first phalanx in my right ringfinger. Got a cast, had no complications, kept practicing a bit with my left hand, and finally today I was told to remove the cast and begin with the physical therapy. Now, doc said I should be fine in about a month. The problem is... I got a small part in a show (ridiculously small, like a couple of songs) on the 1st of October and I want to play no matter what. Obviously I'm gonna avoid using the finger to grip the stick, but would it be safe? Are the vibrations going to hurt the bone? I found almost no answers online.

Sorry if it's a silly question, I'm a beginner and have little to no knowledge about this stuff 😅
