Klu - It's your own Google and ChatGPT but for internal data
A few months ago, we began building Klu with the idea of centralizing search functionality. This means you can connect all of your cloud-based apps and search through them in one place. So you could find data using a keyword, be it emails, Slack messages, Notion pages, or Google Drive documents.
Then came the AI saga. Since we already had all the apps integrated into Klu, users could easily find any email, Notion page, or PDF file. We then realized, why not allow users to simply ask questions and have the system produce answers? Now, when a user asks a question, we present the answer from their data and provide the source. This way, they don’t actually have to navigate to, say, a Notion page to search for the answer.
Next, Chat with your PDF saga came. A limitation was that users had to find a file, download it, upload it to a PDF AI, and then interact with it. We felt this was cumbersome. Given that we already integrated everything for the user, they should be able to directly chat, whether it's with a Notion page, Google Drive document, or email.
Today, Klu allows you to search, ask questions, and even chat with your data.
I would love to hear your feedback on this.
