What is causing this?

Severe underextrusion. Without giving us literally ANY details, we can't help you.
What details do you want? I tried it with multiple cura profiles. Recommended, 3DPUK's and tweaked details from the Kobra Max.
I did however learn about pronterface and did the 100mm test which said it was off by 5mm. so I changed the M92 E405 to E426.
What are your retraction settings?
I went back to 3DPUKs after changing the M92 and that seemed to help drastically. I'll still try raising the temp to 210, I was using 200.
Flow is 100
retraction distance is 6mm, speed is 40mm
I've just setup this Anycubic Kobra Plus.
Its generic PLA,
200 for print temp
65 for plate temp
Speed is 50mm/s
using Cura
Pretty much all the settings are set to what my ender 3 pro was using.
I've tried the profile Anycubic suggests and 3DPUK's Kobra Max profile just with the bed size changed. Both come out similar to the image.
I was suggested it was my flow compensation or something to do with E-Steps. Think that's the issue here or is there something else happening?
This looks exactly like the time I forgot to change the filament diameter to 1.75 from its default of 2.85 in Cura. If it's not that, probably a partial clog.
Could be the first layer was so crushed that it clogged the nozzle and 200° was not enough to keep the plastic flowing. Try 210°C.
Get your Z-offset as close to perfect as possible.
Black - way too high
Green - too high
Blue - just about right
Purple - too low

The anycubic seems to only do z-offsets in .5 increments on the machine itself.
Its at .5 rn and the bottom layer seems pretty decent.is that a setting in gcode? Then maybe I could tweak it some more.
Are you sure that isn't 0.050?
If you feel it looks good, then go with it.
You may have to slightly adjust again on some prints.
Use the same layer height that you used for the calibration for your first layer height.
There may be an option to save the settings or it may save automatically.
That's loads of underextrusion, calibrate E-steps at the speed you normally print at. Maybe partial clog. Try CHEP profiles, been using them for a long time and I love them.
E-steps are now calibrated and the temp has been set to 200ish now. the XYZCube came out well when using 3DPUKs profile but i'll check out the CHEP one.
Great news, hopefully it's now good, keep the updates!
Hey there, I'm a bot and something you said made me think you might be looking for help! click here for our wiki entry on troubleshooting printers. If you still need help be sure to post plenty of information about your printing setup.
Here are a few questions that might be helpful
What printer are you using?
What material are you using?
What speed are you printing at?
What software are you using to slice the print and control the printer?
When did the problem start/has it ever worked correctly?
Does anything cause the behavior to change?
If posting an image of the problem, include some indication of the orientation it printed at, preferably photograph it on the bed. (Then we can focus on a specific axis)
