Disabled IPhone 6 data recover

Open | Phone

I need help

I recently found my old iPhone 6, running on iOS 10.1.2 , and in an attempt to open it, I disabled the iPhone and now a message appears on it. “iPhone disabled, connect to iTunes”. However when I connect to iTunes it asks me to log onto the iphone, and obviously I cannot do that. I am lost and this is really depressing because I have photos and texts on there that I don’t have on my iCloud or newer iPhones, so the only way I can access it is getting into the phone. I am willing to pay for a recovery service. Is there a way to create a backup on my computer for the iPhone 6? Because when I plugged in my phone to the computer, there was a 16 gigabyte file titled “apple iPhone” that was almost filled entirely (15/16 gigs)

I want to add that I know I have photos from 2016 in there, but my iCloud and google photos, and google drive only go back to 2017

Unfortunately you cannot access the data unless you unlock the device. If there were a way to bypass this, it would undermine the entire point of having a password/PIN to secure a device.

Is there a way to unlock it? I am perfectly fine with resetting the phone as long as I can still get the data on the phone

If the PIN has been entered too many times unsuccessfully and the device is now disabled, the data on the device is now lost. You need to restore from a backup.

So there’s literally nothing I can do to get my data back?

Unfortunately not, which is to be expected. Should someone steal your phone, it would be expected they are not able to get access to your data.
