Scared of SA at Upcoming DG Show

I’m seeing them in Nashville this week and I’m just now reading all the SA stories and I’m terrified that the show or band will be ruined for me by traumatic experiences like that. It doesn’t help that commenters say it’s not surprising and I’m just now remembering all the insufferable fans I’ve met.

I’m a girl and I’m not strong. I’m thinking about bringing something for self defense other than my bf who is coming with me.

How can I still have fun? Are there people out there who had a great experience in a similar position as me?
