Gore-tex Sperling bags

Are gore-tex sleeping bags worth the $$$ or are you better off buying a plain bag? I am looking at the Mountain Hardwear phantom 0 degree bag. It is available in a standard nylon or a gore windstopper shell. Is the gore windstopper worth extra $$$? I won't be sleeping outside of a tent.
