Changed flight and went from N to W ticket?

Had a basic economy ticket (N) and saw that there was a change waiver in place. Looked at my options and saw that my very same flight was available as a W ticket for zero price difference. Went ahead and changed to that. Do I get a free full-sized carry-on now? Is this some sort of glitch?
