My coworker has a soft spot for me

To give some context we both started with our current employer just over a month ago. We both are in relationships and have children. It’s a home working position so we have never met in person and live about 3/4 hours away from each other. We didn’t really talk to each other until 2 week ago, and only in the last few days have been texting as friends/coworkers as they are on vacation. They said to me yesterday that they have a soft spot for me. I’m older then them and in a long term relationship of 15+ years but I take it as they have caught feelings. I have said that the feeling are not mutual.

I just don’t know how I’m going to be able to work with this person, knowing that they have a “soft spot” for me. Has anyone been in a similar situation? I don’t think our team dynamic will be the same and I’m worried incase they take things in the wrong way again.
