Advice Please

Hi, I played this game for the last time 2 years ago. Today I have opened it back up and can't remember how to play beyond the basics- can anyone here give me advice on how to play well to boost my memory? Right now I am on zone 1.8k, which is where I must have been up to before I stopped. I believe I have transcended somewhat recently but I can't remember what that means anymore
