Sh hunt eternatus

Im shiny hunting eternatus right now, Im at a streak of 13. Im really poor, only about 800k so i cant really waste money on redeems. Does shiny hunting usually end before 50 catches? If it does I can probably hope to get lucky and sell a deul mon. Or should I just shiny hunt another pokemon?
