[META] NSFW .gifs are now allowed. Ping-ponging .gifs still aren't.

• I said I was going to let the poll stay up till the end of the month, but after a few days the results were 30/70 against/for NSFW .gifs. It has stayed that way since then, so we'll go ahead and allow them for now. just let the voting arrows dictate the content, I say. Please tag your post as NSFW. Please do not report NSFW links.

• Secondly, I will be enforcing the "no ping-ponging" rule more strictly now. There was just a .gif from Inglorius Basterds that was nice, well-made, and got plenty of upvotes(50/2 or something). I had said I would leave it up "because it ping-pongs, but it's hard to tell". As pointed out by a commenter in that thread, "Either enforce the rules or dont, but be consistent." So I will enforce the rules. And you can help by reporting links that ping-pong.

To clarify, ping-ponging refers to when a .gif plays completely, and then plays in reverse. This is not, by my definition, a "loop". Imagine a rollercoaster that is just one circle. It starts, completes a cycle, and then flows seamlessly into the next cycle. That is a loop. Now imagine the same rollercoaster, but cut in half. It starts, get to the end, and then reverses and goes backwards. That's a ping-pong. Both have similar effects of "going forever", but the latter does not belong here(if we allowed these sorts of gifs, any .gif could just have it's reverse slapped on the end and called a perfect loop)

And not that it needs clarifying, but NSFW means "Not suitable for work". That means if your boss saw you looking at the content, you could be fired(in other words, nudity or gore). Nudity will now be allowed here, but must be tagged NSFW. Gore is allowed, but I doubt there are a lot of perfectly looped gore .gifs
