SSRI's and Afterglow

For those of you who take ssri's or have before when taking dxm, has it affected the afterglow for you? for me it eliminates the euphoria I would normally get and instead I just feel dissociated, hazy-minded, and hard to see / walk straight. Is this a side effect of the interaction with ssri's and possible sign of minor serotonin syndrome?
