Tips for Shorts content, as well as specific questions

So I'm a pretty small youtube creator, 154 subscribers with 198 videos, one of which is a 6 minute video, with the rest being Shorts. And so I wonder if there are any tips that y'all have for Shorts content, and I have some specific questions. Firstly, is it better to use as many hastags as possible, or to use just a few hashtags? I make funny gaming Shorts for reference. Next question is fairly similar to the first, but with tags. Is it better to use many tags, or fewer tags? And does the sound you use matter at all? I started creation on TikTok a few years ago, and on TikTok the sound you use makes a large impact on your content performance, do sounds affect your content at all? A guy I used to talk to had said that it doesn't, but I'd like the broader opinion as well.

Thank you for your time, and I apologize if this is a post that gets made often, I'm new to this sub.
