My first genuine leaf-lover!

To preface, I'm a level 200 miner and usually main engie or driller, and I think today I've actually encountered one of those fabled pointy eared sacks of shit! Now this is a first for me, probably because I'm usually the host and only really do haz 4 or 5. Recently though I've been working on my scout since I've decided it was about time I actually try them out so I'm at least competent in all classes, so I join a random haz 3 egg mission and everything seems fine. An engie was hosting with a gunner and driller so I went scout and it was going smooth. No hostility or intentional friendly fire, in fact we were all spamming rock and stone so it was quite nice. But right at the very end directly in front of the drop pod, as I had my back turned to flare the room and check to see how far the rest of the team was behind us, the engie shot two fat man's at me from inside the drop pod. I was just immediately like "oh they're doing the scout bit, great." Which I really wouldn't have cared about if they didn't do the exact same thing to the driller when they went to rez me. The gunner was already in the drop pod and so the engie just left and fucking rock and stoned at me as the pod left. (Fuckin first time I don't run iron-will on a build and of course this shit happens)

Me and the driller were in the medbay when it ended, and I tried to rock and stone to them to say thanks but they had gone afk. Then the fucking engie typed in chat "haha that was funny", ran over to the medbay and rock and stoned at us. I didn't even look at them and just left. Now truth be told, I don't really give a shit. It's nice to vent but I'm not gonna quit the game over a level 30 goblin. What I do want to know is if this is common for scouts? Playing the other 3 classes I've never experienced this before and I've never seen this happen before at least so blatantly, so for all the scout mains who have far more experience, how common is this and is it something I should actually be worried about?
