New System Concept to Buff Older Cards [Unit Fusion]

System= Unit Fusion

How It Works: Take two cards of the same character who share the same Saga Category (IE Future, DB Saga. Essentially two units that are identical.), then sacrifice the two cards to merge them into an even more powerful card. This fusion shares the best characteristics of both cards and combines them. The type of the card would be selected in the Dokkan Menu or somewhere else (perhaps upon initial Fusion). Ideally, there would also be an option to revert the fusion for the sake of Collectors.

Example:
Teq Vegito Blue (2017) + Phy Vegito Blue (2018)

Since the goal of the Unit Fusion is to combine a unit with the best characteristics, it would be best to take the most iconic parts of each unit. This would be the Counters from Phy Vegito Blue, and the Stacking SA from Teq Vegito Blue.

Why would this be a good proposal? :
I personally think that although many suggest Re-eza'ing old units would be a good idea, I find it quite tacky and out of place with Dokkan. From my experience, Bandai always introduces a new system to buff older units, instead of buffing them through ways they have already gotten stronger. Think of the Initial EZA system being introduced, or HIPO when it launched.

Problems with The System and Refutals:

1. Will these units be strong enough with just taking the best elements of both?
   1a. I'm not quite sure. There may be easier ways to leverage around it, such as a +500 ATK/DEF/HP buff on fusion, or other similar ways. Nevertheless, I do believe that Bandai could always just shoehorn buffs into these units to make them stronger whether it is a slight upgrade to a passive skill or just raw stat buffs.

2. What animations would be taken from each unit?
   2a. In my opinion I believe it would be best to take the animations that are newer and keep animations that are tied to passive skills or actives the same.

3. What about the linksets?
   3a. Similar to the other aspects of the cards, the best links from both would ideally be chosen from Bandai and assigned to the Fused Card. If they want to get really crazy, they could let us select them but I don't think that would ever happen.

Conclusion :
If anyone has any ideas on how to add to this concept I would very much appreciate it, or any criticism as well.
