Emperor Ying

So as we all have seen the story unlike others who are just delaying themselves from being spoiled out there, I saw that MK1 had a plot that changed from Onaga and it's mythological legends. Originally in the OG timeline in Deadly Alliance, When Quan Chi discovered an ancient undefeatable army, It was revealed Onaga was the one who formed this army as of course it serves a great purpose for any conquerors to use an army such as this. Then of course Onaga kinda reclaimed it's army until Raiden blew the whole thing off without knowing if the army were still there or destroyed.

Now in Liu Kang's era, We have this Ying who was an ancient Emperor in Earthrealm as he of course formed an undefeatable army but also called Dragon Army, Dragon Warriors to which it's the same kind of army from before, But Onaga is not the one who invented them. Which i kinda wonder if Emperor Ying has any more relevance to the story just like Onaga did but more differently. Not sure how but maybe Quan Chi could revive him for something else since after all he did claimed many armies of fallen Earthrealm warriors while also having teases of him trying to revive Shao Kahn as he held his armors and hammer while showing an undead being rising from the pool of blood as also his MK9 ending shown Shinnok betrayed him and ordered the demons to kill him while Quan Chi revives Shao Kahn and used him to defeat Shinnok and his army.
