The Dumbest Customer I’ve Ever Met

Hi guys, this is my first post here! I just wanted to share a silly and memorable experience I had today, during my shift. A man, probably somewhere in his 40s, comes in to order some drinks and food. Things were fine when I was taking his order, until he pulls out an Amazon gift card to pay for it. I was dumbfounded and confused, and I tried to explain to him that we can’t accept Amazon gift cards. If it was a Starbucks gift card then we could accept it, but it’s an Amazon gift card SPECIFICALLY for Amazon. He proceeded to get mad at me and complained about having money on it, and then asked to speak to my shift lead. My shift lead heard everything and told him the same thing that I just told him, and then he points at me and starts to blame me saying that I didn’t tell him anything. My shift lead then proceeds to defend me saying that I did tell him and that he was being extremely rude for no reason. Afterwards he just went to go grab cash and pay for his items. He also asked for an empty hot venti cup but then he goes over to a heavy cream bottle that we had out for whips, and then proceeds to pour himself the heavy cream into the cup without permission. He got in trouble with my shift lead and then ended up leaving the store without his food that he ordered, lol. Hoo boy, that man was a real piece of work.

TLDR version; A man came into the store and tried to pay for his order with an Amazon gift card and then he proceeds to take heavy cream with a venti hot cup we gave him, without our permission. He also left without his food lmao
