38M: where did my sexual sensation go

Hi all! I'm 6', 180 lbs, straight guy. I had an experience doing prostate massage six months ago that I haven't recovered from and am wondering what the hell is wrong with me. My dick doesn't feel right any more.

What happened: I do occasional prostate massage with a dildo (1x a month) and it has really jazzed my sex life, turning up the physical sensitivity in my dick/balls/butt. But this particular day, I wasn't warmed up enough and felt some pain upon entry with a dildo. The toy is 1.2" diameter; the pain wasn't extreme but it just felt like I had pushed something into too tight of a space.

Symptoms: Since that day, my sensations in my pelvic region, notably my penis, haven't been right. The most concerning thing is the lack of erogenous sensation, feels like it's along the pudendal nerve line but I don't really know. My sensations during sex are probably reduced in the area by 75 percent. I can still get erect and have sex fine, but the sensations are extremely dulled. Other symptoms include a knotted feeling in my perineum, constipation/some bowel weirdness, and occasional tightness and moderate pain after orgasm. But the most upsetting thing to me is the lack of sexual sensation. It feels like that nerve is squashed or being stepped on. The prostate massage is no longer pleasurable. But I don't really know what's going on.

Is it possible I damaged my pelvic nerves? I guess that's my main q. Seems weird to have done significant damage from such a routine thing. The pelvic floor pain community has its own explanation about muscle tightness, which might have more positive outcomes. But I feel like I've probably always had some pelvic floor tightness but never all these weird nerve issues. So maybe nerves are the explanation. Important to note that I also deal with health anxiety on and off, and the last six months have been really bad after this. But I wasn't doing anything extreme and there was never any blood or major pain, so wtf happened. Can I ever hope to be recovered?
