OEM Running Boards and Rockrails

I am looking to go with a TRD Pro and was considering rock rails due to the practical nature of them, but could benefit from a running board.

I can only do an OEM option as this is a lease and an wondering what folks have gone with from Toyota that can provide some protection like a rockrail but also provides a means to enter the truck.

Are the OEM trail boards low profile and do they provide some slider like protection?
