How do you handle difficult supervisors?

WWYD

I don't know if this violates the rules. I guess the bot will tell me.

I work for a long term care facility that has had many ethical violations. They told me not to report, but I did. They don't like when I refer people to psych either.

I'm in my final semester and trying to use my job as my practicum. My admin was nice enough to set me up with a Hospice social worker we're contracted with.

However, she's been very critical. I know she's trying to help, but she's criticized my appearance, my parenting, and my absences due to health.

I had to go into the admin office and give him details on my disease. He said I should have told him but it wouldn't have mattered because they don't excuse sick days. So I was like , "???" He even brought up absences from before my schedule was finalized. He claimed we finalized the schedule the first week.

I guess the consensus was that if I miss any more days for the next year, I'll be written up and then fired. I'm not sure.

I feel like I'm stuck here and there's nothing I can do. I appreciate their help but I feel stuck if I want to graduate this semester.
