Daredevil cat

Looks like (my wife is in charge) we are adopting a stray cat who we found hanging around the housing complex. One thing we noticed that i’m a bit nervous about when we let the cat out on the balcony of our 3rd floor unit she’ll very gracefully hop onto the outside ledge and walk along it or rest. It’s a bit unnerving to see because we’re up three floors and although she is agile and the ledge isn’t too narrow, I worry she might fall. Should we let her continue being a daredevil or prevent her from going out to the balcony at all, which she enjoys.
