First Time Builder, Open to Suggestions

First build, open to suggestions

Hello, I am hoping to build a PC soon. This has been something that I have been eager to do for some time now, but now I’m finally ready to move forward.

After watching various build guides and reviewing some benchmarks, I have compiled this part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/jenningsj12/saved/#view=Mgwdqs.

I have minimal exposure with PC building/ knowledge of parts, so I am more than open to suggestions or what parts you believe I should avoid. I already have a full-size case, why I have excluded it from the part list. Ideally, I would like to keep the costs of this PC within the $1200 range. If I could even drop the total price lower without too much performance compromise, that would be great too.
