Cannot start Launchbox on Windows 10

Launchbox appears to load, and this is what I see.

Unfortunately, nothing works. Clicking items does nothing. The only way out is to use Task Manager.

I simply installed from the link in my email and am using the default directory. Windows 10 is up to date. I have tried both with and without the license file.

What am I doing wrong?
