Is this considered racist or cultural appropriation?

My mom, my brother, and I are considering getting small matching tattoos when we get together in December. One of my mom’s ideas is for us to get small print on our fingers that say Ohana. Put frankly, we’re white, and I’m concerned that this might be racist or culturally appropriative.
