Is iOS really this buggy, or are my standards just too high?

Discussion

So, I recently switched from Android. I really want to like this, but in my first week of an iPhone 15 Pro, I have experienced more weird software things than probably the last year with my Pixel.

-the notification center regularly freaks out and slides vertically/flashes when trying to check older notifications. Similar effect to if you’ve ever gotten water on your screen.

-on two occasions now, when the screen brightness darkens (slider goes down in control center) certain images stay bright? For example, one instagram post will stay bright while everything else darkens. Didn’t even think this would be possible.

-system apps (settings, calendar, etc) will regularly freeze and need to be closed before using again.

-and this may be less a “bug”, possible a feature I just don’t understand, but notifications only seem to clear 50% of the time if I go into their app/conversation. Sometimes I’ll find a text or DM notification from something I replied to in-app hours prior.

These are just a few that stand out to memory. I suppose I expected a polished product from the almighty Apple. Instead I find myself wondering if this is really how the other half has lived all these years?
