If Blumhouse gets a new director for the remaining Exorcist sequels, will it already be too late to salvage the trilogy?
So, I’ve seen recently that there’s been a lot of doubt towards DGG returning to direct the remaining Exorcist sequels. Now, this definitely gets me excited, because I have faith that an Exorcist sequel can be made correctly if it’s done by the right person. But even if Universal gets a new director, will the ill will from the first film cause the remaining sequels to gross less and less at the box office similarly to the Halloween trilogy, even if the remaining sequels are amazing or will we see some improvement?
What do you think?
