SSD storage increased out of nowhere when I sent it to tech support to upgrade RAM

Something really odd just happened to me. I bought (on the official HP website) an HP Victus 16 with a 512Gb Intel PCIe NVMe M.2 storage. Yesterday, I took it to a tech support guy to install a second 8Gb RAM stick on the second slot. When I came back, I had my 16GB RAM memory but I also noticed that the storage was now 1 Tb and in the task manager it says it’s an Intel Optane H10 (although some sources say the laptop I bought had a 32Gb Optane on it). I can’t remember if before I took it to the tech support guy it said the same thing, but I’m pretty sure I only had 512 Gb of storage. I used a software to analyse my current SSD and the power on hours matches with how much one would expect given I’ve only had the laptop for a few days. What happened here? I feel blessed but concerned at the same time. Please help.
