Pick up in store help
Hey, I figured here would be the best way to ask this to understand what the best courtesy would be for pick up in store since I’ve never done it before.
I ordered a game for pick up in store yesterday around 12:30 afternoon, with the intention of picking it up today after I get out of work around 3:30/4:00 PM. I noticed that I never got an email saying it was ready before my local store was closed at around 5:00 yesterday.
I’m worried that maybe they won’t find it? Pick up said there was only one copy left when I ordered it, and the website wouldn’t let me order it to ship to home for some reason. (It was a game that was part of the sale, though) if they don’t find it, should I get an email and would my card be refunded?
Also, if I don’t get an email before I get out of work, would it be rude after that long of time to stop by and check ‘what’s up’ sort of deal? What is the general consensus/length of time it takes to fill these sort of orders? Or would it be best to call first to ask to see if it got into the system to begin with?
Any guidance as to what to do to help me get the game and make the process as smooth for the employee would be appreciated.
