no longer able to dress like mrs frizzle (sad)

am i the only one bothered by starbucks "sense of community", "foster the human spirit" mottos while not allowing us to dress how we want? i work in a store within a larger store and previously worked in other departments within the parent store. i sew my own skirts with fun patterns which i pair with color coordinated, thrifted hawaiian shirts. essentially a wall of wildly patterned fabric, usually animal themed (i have a bee skirt and a bat skirt and a shark skirt) a la mrs frizzle from the magic schoolbus. it's fun and quirky and makes the customers laugh. great icebreaker. but now at starbucks its only black skirts and very lightly patterned shirts. it just irks me throwing out 90% of my wardrobe for bland nothingness with seemingly no reason. anyone else bothered by the dress code or is it just me?
