Recent Public Transport Experiences in with other passengers

What have been some of your experiences with other passengers on public transport recently?

Just sharing a recent experience that’s got me down.

I was commuting home on the bus and was sitting next to a woman who was sitting near the window. She wanted to get off and said “excuse me” x3 in less than 10 seconds while I was moving. Yes I admit I wasn’t super quick but I did communicate that I heard her by saying “1 second” x2. She proceeds to shove me with her bag on my head and yell at me while getting off.

I most likely will see her again because that’s my usual bus route (seems like hers too) and she may verbally abuse me again because she seems like a bully.

So I was wondering if anyone has any advice on if I were to encounter her again on what I should do or if you have experiences you want to share?
