I can’t progress

Every time I finish a series I go to the next one -> buy an eligible car and then the game locks up adding the new car to the garage. The only way to reset the game is to force quit back to the dashboard, but then when you restart the game, progress hasn’t been saved and I have to recomplete the last race of the series I just finished!

I tried buying an eligible car before finishing the previous series again, but then the game locks up ‘retrieving event information’ when I move to the next series. Force quit resets progress again.

Extremely frustrating. The fundamentals of this game are good but they’ve done an abysmal job optimising it and fixing bugs, especially given how many times it was delayed. I really have no motivation to keep playing until these silly, progress ruining issues are fixed.
